Criminal Justice (AA, On campus or online)

The Criminal Justice AA degree gives the two-year student the opportunity to take courses relevant to various careers in law enforcement. The degree also may serve as an in-service program for law enforcement officers. The degree can be earned completely online, and it may be used as a gateway to the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. To gain a competitive edge in the law enforcement field, it is recommended that a student earn the Criminal Justice Bachelor of Science degree. All credits earned in the Associate’s Degree will count toward the Bachelor’s degree.

Please note, international students enrolled in distance education (online) programs are not eligible for F-1 student status at UMFK.

The Criminal Justice AA degree will be awarded upon the successful completion of the program requirements and fulfillment of the University of Maine at Fort Kent graduation requirements.
