The four-year Conservation Law Enforcement program at UMFK is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation necessary to protect natural resources, enforce environmental laws, and manage wildlife conservation efforts. This four-year degree blends experiential learning, critical thinking, wildlife science, and legal principles to prepare graduates for entry-level careers in conservation law enforcement.
Through rigorous coursework, hands-on field training, and leadership development, students will gain practical expertise in wildlife and ecosystem management, conservation law, environmental policy, and law enforcement tactics.
Students in the Conservation Law Enforcement (BS) program are eligible for participation in the Bachelor - MBA, Accelerated Pathway (MaineMBA) or the Bachelor - Juris Doctor, Accelerated Pathway (MaineLaw) .
The Conservation Law Enforcement Bachelor of Science degree will be awarded upon the successful completion of the program requirements and fulfillment of the University of Maine at Fort Kent graduation requirements.
