The Criminal Justice associate degree program at UMFK provides students with a strong foundation in law enforcement principles, legal frameworks, and practical skills necessary for entry-level positions in criminal justice. Through a rigorous curriculum and immersive experiential learning opportunities, students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership abilities essential for success in the law enforcement field.

Designed as a standalone degree program or as a seamless pathway to a four-year Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree, this program ensures students graduate prepared for immediate employment while maintaining flexibility for continued education.

The Criminal Justice AA degree will be awarded upon the successful completion of the program requirements and fulfillment of the University of Maine at Fort Kent graduation requirements.
