PHE 110: Fitness, Sport, and Health

3 credits

This course is designed for students seeking to increase their physical fitness and their understanding of the kinesiological, anatomical, physiological underpinnings of movement, sport and health. It includes instruction for building muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular fitness, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Students will be expected to improve upon their existing level of fitness with CRJ/CLE students having the intent of reaching specific pre-academy fitness requirements and other students reaching career or lifestyle fitness goals. One hour of lecture and four hours of lab. Lecture / Lab Spring semester
