Psychology (BS, On campus or online)


The Psychology program is a 120 credit (4 year) degree that is designed for students interested in careers in the field of Psychology and for advanced study in fields such as Psychology, Social Work, and Counseling. Students choose either the Behavioral Health (MHRT-C) concentration or the Substance Misuse Concentration (in partnership with the University of Maine at Augusta). Hands-on experience, job shadowing, participation in service and experiential learning projects, and internships are core elements that set our program apart.

The Psychology (BS) degree will be awarded upon the successful completion of the program requirements with a minimum grade of C for all core and concentration courses and the fulfillment of the University of Maine at Fort Kent graduation requirements.

Please note, international students enrolled in distance education (online) programs are not eligible for F-1 student status at UMFK.
