NUR 602: Advanced Pharmacology

3 credits

This course focuses on the pharmacological concepts pertinent to advanced practice nurses. Pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamics, drug metabolism are foci for this course. The pharmacological drug classes for the treatment of diseases of major organ systems are presented, assisting the student to make therapeutic-based decisions regarding drug treatments.

Prerequisite(s): Must be enrolled in the Graduate Master of Science in Nursing program or instructor’s permission.
