NUR 604: Advanced Pathophysiology

3 credits

The purpose of this course is to enhance the foundational knowledge of the student through the use of technology to cover the molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and body system disease states. Advanced concepts in physiology and pathophysiology are fundamental elements of advanced practice. As such, these topics are explored in depth. Emphasis is placed on data collection from a variety of sources to develop a patient profile for diagnostic and care planning purposes.

Prerequisite(s): Must be enrolled in the Graduate Master of Science in Nursing program or instructor’s permission.
