NUR 686: Healthcare Policy and the Law: Implications for Quality and Safety3 credits
This course focuses on the potential impact advanced practice nurses have on healthcare policy through advocacy. The courses explores the ways in which advanced practice nurses interpret and analyze healthcare policy to determine its impact on nursing practice and patient care. Health care reform and future trends will be examined.
Prerequisite(s): Must be enrolled in the Graduate Master of Science in Nursing program or instructor’s permission.
