ENV 122: Introduction to Homesteading4 credits
Explore the history, philosophy, opportunities and practices associated with homesteading. Students in this survey course acquire a working knowledge of foundational principles of horticulture, animal husbandry, butchering, food preservation, economics, site development and practical problem solving needed to establish and manage a homestead.
