NUR 609: Advanced Health Assessment4 credits
This course focuses on providing students with advanced knowledge and psychomotor skills in the health assessment of individuals across the lifespan. Relevant historical, genetic, biological, cultural, psychosocial, and physical data, both objective and subjective, are emphasized to ensure students are able to conduct a holistic health assessment. Health promotion and disease prevention concepts are also introduced.
Prerequisite(s): Must be enrolled in the Graduate Master of Science in Nursing program or instructor’s permission. Co-requisite(s): None.
