NUR 703: Information Systems and Technological Applications

3 credits

In this course students will evaluate health information systems for the effective delivery of healthcare to promote quality, safety, and patient engagement in their own healthcare. Students will identify the various information and communication technology tools used in the care of patients, communities, and populations. Students will explore the financial and quality impact of information and communication technologies on workflow processes and healthcare outcomes.
