NUR 760: Financial and Value Based Health Services and Systems

This course emphasizes the financial environment and the impacts of values based healthcare on practice and organizations. This course reviews the economic and finance principles in healthcare for both large and small organizations. Principles of budgeting and managerial accounting are explored. Students will examine the ways to remain accountable in upholding moral, legal, and ethical principles in healthcare while ensuring care is cost effective.
