The Associate of Arts in Behavioral Science is a 60-credit (2 year) degree, professional development program within the general field of Human Sciences, which encompasses the disciplines of Anthropology, Psychology, and Sociology. The program vision is to develop in its students an understanding of the broader sociocultural and historical forces that create human need and entry-level professional skills to positively impact the lives of others in our communities. Students interested in Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician - Community (MHRT/C) Certificate, should refer to the Human Services (AA, On campus or online) .
The Behavioral Science (AA) degree will be awarded upon the successful completion of the program requirements with a minimum grade of C for all core courses and the fulfillment of the University of Maine at Fort Kent graduation requirements.
