PSY 233: Substance Abuse Counseling3 credits
This course is a survey of common substance abuse disorders and corresponding mental health issues and the assessment and treatment of common substance abuse disorders. It covers co-occurrence of social and medical issues; the laws relevant to disabilities, diagnosis, and counseling strategies. This course is applicable to State of Maine MHRT/C certification. Offered odd Fall.
