SED 355: Transitional Issues for Students with Disabilities3 credits
This course will provide a balanced presentation of theory, research, and practice in regard to career guidance and transition for youths with disabilities. Discussion of such issues as inclusive education, self-determination and advocacy. Practical suggestions for how to draft IEP transition goals which will lead to a successful transition from school to work or post-secondary school experiences.
Prerequisite(s): EDU 303 or SED 310 .
